இழுஅமுது - ILU/இழு means oil in classical tamil and AMUTHU/அமுது means elixir. This pure oil is extracted by traditional process of grinding in stone chekku.
We pride ourselves in producing the finest quality Cold Pressed Oil (mara chekku ennai), by using the traditional method of cold pressing. We ensure that nothing is added or taken away during oil extraction process. The result is a deliciously flavored natural oil that complements any dish and keeps you healthy. 

Chekku Oil means, during the extraction process the temperature of nuts/seeds are maintained at the room temperature. Temperature can be maintained low only if traditional wooden churner (Mara Chekku) is used and extracted by a slow mechanical process. Since the oil is not headed, it retains the natural nutrients, flavor, Color and texture.
